Representing complex phenomena by means of CNN

Complex phenomena such as Auto waves and Spiral Waves are those most often met with when studying physical phenomena in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Spiral waves, in particular, are the most studied structures in the world, from microscopic formations in chemical reactions to the conformation of the biggest galaxies.
For dozens of years, the aspect and rotation of spirals have been examined in chemical and biological processes (heart muscles, eye retinas, and chemical oscillators). The majority of these systems have been modeled with continuous models by means of partial differential equations. Today, the same phenomena can be reproduced more efficiently by Cellular Neural Networks (CNN).

Here is a simple demonstration of "Spiral Waves" .
